Commonwealth Chorale seeks to recruit singers of all voice types — especially tenor and bass — who have strong vocal and sight-reading skills. Auditions will be held by appointment on the evenings of January 2 and 9, 5:45PM-6:45PM, at the group’s new rehearsal location at First Baptist Church (848 Beacon Street, Newton Center) — a few minutes’ walk from Newton Centre station. Free parking is available in the church parking lot. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, 7:15PM-9:45PM. Review the upcoming 2023-2024 season and apply here for an audition.
