Brown: School Committee and Mayor not negotiating in good faith with NTA, need to negotiate in public

I think that there is impartial evidence that Mayor Fuller and the NPS School Committee have not been negotiating in good faith. Superior Court Judge Barry-Smith decided today to LOWER the daily fine to the NTA to a consistent $50,000, instead of increasing it to $400,000, and he came to that decision after reviewing materials submitted by NPS as evidence of good-faith negotiations. I think that decision means that the Mayor and the NPS School Committee have not been negotiating in good faith.

I suggest, in agreement with others discussing this idea on social media, that the negotiations should be made public via Zoom as was done in Concord in 2015. Hopefully, that would ensure good-faith negotiations.
