City Council and School Committee will meet in person (Council Chamber) and virtually (Zoom link) on Monday, January 1 at 12PM for the Inauguration Ceremonies, broadcast live on NewTV’s government channel (Comcast 9, RCN13 or 614HD, Verizon 33) on NewTV’s Youtube Channel.
The Inaugural Docket agenda includes the following:
- Acceptance of Rules and Orders
- Election of a President
- Election of a Vice President
- Election of a President Emeritus
- Assignment of Seats
- Appointment of Steve Curley as the City Comptroller
- Appointment of Carol Moore as the City Clerk/Clerk of the Council
NOTE: The School Committee will also elect its Chair and Vice Chair.
