Newton Senior Center and Newton Fire Dept.: Fire Safety Seminar, Nov. 16

The Newton Senior Center will host a Fire Safety Seminar led by the Newton Fire Department at the Hyde Community Center (90 Lincoln Street, Newton Highlands) on November 16, Noon-1PM. Meet the Newton Fire Department and learn all about fire safety, including: how to use and maintain smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, how to use a fire extinguisher, how to deal with different types of kitchen fires, and how to prevent common tripping and electrical hazards. Learn about helpful assistive fire safety devices for those with a hearing impairment, and receive a Home Safety Checklist.
