Newton Family Singers: Music of Brandi Carlile, Dec. 3

The Newton Family Singers will celebrate the music of an Americana superstar with their concert, Keep Your Heart Young: The Songs of Brandi Carlile, on December 3 at 4PM in the Eleanor Welch Casey Theatre at Regis College (235 Wellesley Street, Weston). Tickets are on sale at a discount ($15 for adults) through November 24, then $20 for adults. Tickets for children 12 years and under are always $15.

Newton Family Singers says: “Brandi Carlile’s deep and soulful songwriting touches on topics including family, community and belonging—themes that are central to the Newton Family Singers and our audience. In addition to being a Grammy-winning songwriter and performer, Brandi is a noted philanthropist and activist for humanitarian aid, COVID-19 relief, racial justice, and LGBTQ+ rights. She runs her own organization, Looking Out Foundation, which raises money and awareness for causes in the arts, human rights, women’s equality and more. And frankly, she is very cool.”

Proceeds from this concert will support Out Metrowest, which works to build communities where LGBTQ+ youth can thrive.
