MassDOT Newton Corner project: City seeks community input by Nov. 19

The City of Newton encourages residents, business owners and the workforce who live near or travel through Newton Corner to weigh in on a MassDOT project to deliver short- and medium-term improvements to the challenging Newton Corner intersection.

On Tuesday, October 24, MassDOT held a public meeting (video) to share alternative concepts to improve safety for all modes of travel, and to reduce conflicts and crashes throughout the area. At the meeting, over 100 people participated in a series of polls.

The City now seeks input from a wider audience. Visit the links above and then take the survey by November 19.

In the following weeks, MassDOT and its design team will review the results and winnow down the concepts for further design. There will be further public input as this project moves forward.
