Land Use Committee – 10/17/23 Report

The Land Use Committee voted to Approve (see Report):

  • Extension of nonconforming FAR at 211 Dorset Road in Ward 5 (6-0, Councilor Laredo Not Voting) to construct a one-story addition in the footprint of a rear deck. Petition Documents
  • A three single-family attached dwellings at 0 Jewett Place and 15-17 Jewett Place in Ward 1 (6-0, Councilor Laredo Abstaining) Project approved by Historic Commission, neighbors generally in support. Units would be owned. Approved on second call. Petition Documents
  • Parking in the front setback and within five feet of the front lot line at 97 Waban Hill Road North in Ward 7 (7-0)  for a second driveway. Petition Documents
  • Six single-family attached dwellings in three buildings at 280 Nevada Street in Ward 1 (7-0) Units would be owned. Developer to make $100,000 payment to the affordable trust fund. Petition Documents

The Land Use Committee voted to Hold:

  •  Change from a nonconforming two-family dwelling use to two single-family dwellings on one lot at 373 Lexington Street in Ward 4 (6-0, Councilor Laredo Not Voting) Petitioner wanted more time to talk with neighbors. Petition Documents
