From the welcoming music of the Branches Steel Pan Orchestra of Mattapan to the resounding echoes of the Eldredge Chime, the atmosphere was electric with enthusiasm at the recent celebration of Grace Church’s 150th Anniversary. The event united more than 200 members, neighbors, and city officials, all sharing in the joy of the bell tower’s grand reopening.

Tammy Hobbs Miracky expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Mayor and the City of Newton’s Community Preservation Program, which provided $1.4 million in matching funds for this restoration project. Mayor Ruthann Fuller and Ward 1 Councilor Maria Greenberg also commended Grace’s remarkable achievement in restoring this historic landmark and providing space for numerous cultural and social service organizations.

  • Improbable Beasts Ensemble – November 19
