Ward 8 constituents rely on their City Council trio to help navigate city services and solve everyday problems in our neighborhoods. As your Councilors, we each need all three of our Ward 8 Councilors to be people we can count on to answer those emails and calls as a team. And we need all our Ward 8 Councilors to have a strong and productive relationship with city staff, so that we can get your constituent issues addressed promptly and effectively. When Ward 8 residents need a fast response from the Department of Public Works about flooding, road hazards, or utility emergencies, they need to know their Ward Councilor is someone whose call is always answered immediately and taken seriously. That’s why we’re both voting to re-elect Ward Councilor Holly Ryan. This Ward 8 team works, without having to hit a reset button to start from scratch. With Councilor Holly Ryan, Ward 8 has had an independent and thoughtful voice as our Ward Councilor, making sure nobody here goes unheard or forgotten, from Brookline Street to Needham Street and from Oak Hill Park to Route 9. Everyone on the City Council always knows they’re going to get the unique Ward 8 perspective when Councilor Ryan speaks.
