Tenor Joe Muise and pianist Lois Shapiro will present a wonderful concert on Sunday, October 15 at 3PM in the sanctuary of Eliot Church (474 Centre Street, Newton Corner). A reception will follow.
Donations will benefit Silent Spring Institute — a nonprofit, scientific research organization dedicated to uncovering the links between chemicals in our everyday environment and women’s health, with a focus on prevention of breast cancer prevention. Founded in 1994 and based in Newton, Silent Spring aims to prevent cancers by reducing people’s exposure to harmful, hormone-disrupting chemicals — like PFAS, phthalates, and parabens — where they live, work, and play.
Donations of any amount may be made either at the recital or online.
