Newton-based Silent Spring Institute will hold its Annual Gala Celebration on October 12 at the Revere Hotel on Boston Common, honoring long-time Newton resident and outgoing Silent Spring Executive Director Dr. Julia Brody for her 27 years of outstanding leadership and scientific excellence.
While the Gala is already sold out, its online Silent Auction is available now until 9PM on October 12, with an amazing catalog of items to bid on. The auction is open to all, and anyone can register to bid. Those who cannot attend the gala can participate in the auction and show their support for research into breast cancer prevention.
