The Newton Community Development Foundation (NCDF) is seeks to hire a couple (or roommates to live on site and work part-time (approximately 25 hours per week) maintaining the common areas and grounds of a 75-unit mixed income apartment community — the John W. Weeks House in Newton Centre.
The Property Caretaker position also entails weeknight emergency on-call coverage and rotating weekends. Some working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, and a vehicle required. In lieu of compensation, the Property Caretake will live rent free in a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment.
