Newton at Home fundraiser: Growing our Family, Sept 14

Newton at Home — a volunteer-driven, membership-based nonprofit supporting Newton seniors who are aging in place — happily invites all to its upcoming Fall Benefit – Growing our Family – on September 14, 5:30-7:30 PM at Good Shepherd Community Care, 160 Wells Avenue in Newton. The event will celebrate being together and raise money to help Newton seniors age comfortably in their own homes.

This is Newton at Home’s first in-person fundraising event in over three years. It will include food and drink from local vendors, silent and live auction items, and a talk by author and Newton resident Hank Phillippi Ryan. The event will also honor Newton’s own Kay Masterson (Co-owner of Johnny’s Luncheonette and Cabot’s Ice Cream & Restaurant) and Susan Paley (Senior Vice President for Community Relations at the Village Bank).

The cost is $75 per person. Please register here. For more information, please call 617-795-2560 or email events@newtonathome.org.
