On September 22 at 6PM, the City will hold a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of the new Gath Pool and splashpad. Speakers will include State Representative Kay Khan, Mayor Ruthanne Fuller, Parks, Recreation & Culture Commissioner Nichole Banks, and representatives of the Friends of Albemarle. Gather on the south side of the pool, rain or shine.
