The Bristol Waban Condominiums (20 Kinmonth Street) is offering four deed-restricted, new-construction condominium units for sale in Waban village center. There will be an online public information meeting (Zoom link) on July 24 at 6:30PM. Applications are due by August 21, and a lottery will be held on September 1 at 3PM. - Three of the units are for individuals and families earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI): a 1-bedroom at $243,900, a 2-bedroom at $276,800, and a 3-bedroom at $309,500.
- The fourth unit is for an individual or family earning up to 110% of the AMI: a 1-bedroom for $354,250.
Buyers must have adequate funds for their down payment plus closing costs and be pre-qualified for a mortgage amount sufficient for the purchase. The City of Newton is offering Down Payment/Closing Cost Assistance grants of $10,000 to eligible applicants. The units are deed-restricted to ensure permanent affordability.
