The Newton Planning and Development Department will hold its first public meeting for the City’s Bicycle/Pedestrian Network Plan online on Tuesday, June 13 at 7PM (Zoom link). All are welcome to attend to learn more about Newton’s plan to make walking and cycling safer, more enjoyable, and more accessible. The meeting will be recorded and available for later viewing at the project website.
At this meeting, the City and its consulting partner, Kittelson Associates, will review the purpose and goals of this citywide network plan, share learning to date about existing conditions and the recent public survey, conduct some interactive polling, preview the coming work on this plan, and take questions and comment.
