On June 25, 1PM-4PM, Jon Regosin, former Director of MassWildlife, will lead the first in a series of Newton Conservators BioBlitz outings – -this one in Cold Spring Park. Meet at 1200 Beacon Street. Learn more about how to identify native plants, birds, butterflies. Developed skills in identifying ferns or pollinators. Or learn more about nature in Newton. spend a few hours surveying plants and animals, learning, and posting our observations to iNaturalist. You do not need to be an experienced naturalist or expert to participate. Families are welcome. Take advantage of optional registration to be informed of any future changes.
