If you have a parent who is 60 or older and lives in Newton, consider giving them a three-month introductory membership for Newton at Home.
For more than a decade, Newton at Home has been helping members of the Newton community “age in place” independently by meeting the practical needs of daily living and offering a broad range of programs for social engagement.
Over this time, Newton at Home has held hundreds of outings, dining clubs, health seminars, and social programs all tailored to older adults. Its friendly volunteers have driven members on over 9,000 trips to and from medical and dental appointments, the airport, grocery shopping, and hair salons, engaging them in conversation along the way.
The three-month introductory membership costs $149 and gives the gift of community and independence. There’s a variety of flexible annual membership plans to fit any budget.
