Created in the 1600s by a dam for a grist mill, Bullough’s Pond is now a Newton landmark. Learn about its history and enjoy a presentation by Newton photographer, Ellen Foust, who shows a selection of cloudscapes and other stunning views. Foust has photographed the pond almost daily since 2018, creating evocative images of its many moods in different seasons, times of day, and weather. Suggested donation, $10 per person. Historic Newton members, $5. The event will be held in person on Wednesday, June 21 at 7PM at the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds (286 Waverley Avenue, Newton Centre). Register here or come to the door. Donate online, through Venmo (@Historic-Newton), or at the door.
