Board and Commission Meetings – Week of 6/25/2023

Newton Cultural Council will meet in person (1294 Centre Street) and virtually (Zoom link) on Monday, June 26 at 5:30PM. The agenda includes the following:

  • Treasurer report
  • Grant Modification discussion “Dinosaur Annex”, other date changes
  • Community Input Survey – finalize and create a distribution plan

Planning and Development Board will meet jointly with the Zoning and Planning Committee, in person (Council Chamber) and virtually (Zoom link), on Monday, June 26 at 7PM. The agenda includes the following:

  • Joint Public Hearing on a request for a review, discussion, and amendments relative to Chapter 30 zoning ordinances by adding a new Village Center Overlay District, consisting of four (4) district tiers, by establishing requirements for such District, and requesting amendments to the Zoning Map to include the Village Center Overlay District.

Parks and Recreation Commission will meet virtually (Zoom link) on Monday, June 26 at 7PM. The agenda includes the following:
