18th annual PMC benefit chamber music concert, June 29

Lots of Brahms, Lots of Bassoon. Join Joel Bard and Sayuri Miyamoto and friends for their 18th annual Pan-Mass Challenge benefit chamber music concert to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The concert will take place on Thursday, June 29 at 7:30PM at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton (1326 Washington Street, West Newton). Performers will include members of the Boston and Atlanta Symphony Orchestras, the Lydian String Quartet, and more. Tickets are $35 ($10 for students), and all proceeds go directly to Dana-Farber through the Pan-Mass Challenge.

  • Selections from Brahms “Zigeunerlieder” for Mezzo-Soprano and Piano
  • Poulenc Trio for Oboe, Bassoon, and Piano
