On May 18, 4PM-5:30PM, the Over 60’s group at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton will host Part 2 in its online series on housing options for seniors. This session features:
- Karen Wasserman, Director of Your Elder Experts, will discuss Continuing Care Retirement Communities: their characteristics, differences, and costs.
- Emily Kuhl, Case Manager at the Newton Senior Center, will address subsidized vs affordable apartments and the reality of waiting lists.
- Linda Lancz, FUUSN member, will describe her experience searching for a suitable place.
The panel discussion will be Zoom. All must register in advance. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the meeting.
