The City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will host DPW Day on May 21, 11:30AM-2:30PM at the War Memorial at City Hall. (This was POSTPONED due to rain May 20. Residents are invited to learn about Newton’s Department of Public Works’ (DPW) many projects. Public Works staff will showcase their work and be available for questions. There will be games, Touch-a-Truck, music, and more! Food will be available for purchase.
Newton’s DPW is also hosting a Fill-a-Truck food drive during this year’s DPW Day. You can help by bringing non-perishable food items to the DPW Day event or by dropping items off at Newton City Hall during the month of May. All donations will help fill a Newton Public Works Truck and benefit the Newton Food Pantry!
