Programs and Services will meet on Wednesday and discuss the following:
- Request to approve the recommendation of the Election Commission to approve the date of Tuesday, September 12, 2023 as the date for the 2023 Preliminary Election, if needed
- Public Comment on the request for a discussion and possible amendment to Section 12-72 “Sustainable Containers, Packaging, and Single-Use Ordinance” to further reduce the amount of single-use plastic in Newton
- Request for a home rule petition so that the City can create an ordinance to prohibit the purchase or application of anti-coagulant rodenticides in Newton.
