NewtonSERVES — a community-wide day of volunteering — will take place on May 7. Volunteers can sign up here for any of the 23 projects listed below — many of which are focused on cleaning and improving our parks, school grounds, open space areas, and conservation lands. Volunteers must be 18 or older; children under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult volunteer. Dress for the weather and bring gloves, sunscreen, drinking water, and hand tools.
