The Newton Commission On Disability (COD) and the Elliot Clubhouse are celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month with a free concert by the Me2/ Orchestra on Sunday, May 7, at 3PM at Newton North High School. Everyone is welcome.
The Me2/ Orchestra includes musicians who live with mental illness and those who love and support them. For this concert, the performances will include works by Brahms and Beethoven, interspersed with compelling stories about life with mental illness from members of the orchestra who are musicians living with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or depression. The performance will also include a Q&A where the audience can ask the orchestra anything. Please join us for an afternoon of beautiful music!
