The Zoning and Planning (ZAP) Committee voted to approve the following (see Report and watch the video on NewTV):
- Reappointment of Laurie Malcom to the Newton Upper Falls Historic District Commission.
All other items were held. After a brief presentation by the Planning Department and questions and comments from Committee members and other Councilors (see article in Fig City News), the Committee opened the meeting for public comment.
*NOTE: The Committee Report notes that Councilor Wright submitted her data and projections of housing units since 2020 to the Planning Department (see Wright memo) for its review and response prior to the February 13 ZAP meeting, but it was not included in this week’s Friday packet.
