Music Mondays is a women-run nonprofit presenting frequent, live music concerts in the Scandinavian Living Center’s Nordic Hall to audiences of mostly senior citizens. On February 20, 2PM-3PM, Music Mondays will present The Why — a chamber jazz quartet featuring Berklee jazz cellist Catherine Bent, along with composer and pianist Bert Seager, upright bassist Max Ridley, and hand-drummer Dor Herskovits. They will perform an eclectic collection of pieces by Bert Seager with influences ranging from Bach to Bossa Nova. You can attend in person or on Zoom. Admission is free, and donations are appreciated, all of which will go 100% to the musicians.
