[FUUSN online] Housing Options for Seniors, Part 2: Continuing Care, Subsidized vs Affordable Sites, & One Woman’s Search, Mar. 23

On March 23, the Over 60’s group at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton (FUUSN) will host a Zoom session for Part 2 in its series on Housing Options for Seniors. Panelists include:

  • Jean Stringham, president of the Massachusetts Life Care Residents Association will discuss continuing care communities, their features and differences.
  • Emily Kuhl, Case Manager from the Newton Senior Center, will address subsidized vs. affordable apartments and the reality of waiting lists. 
  • Linda Lancz, a FUUSN member, will describe her experience searching for a suitable place to live.
