Parker & Fitzgibbons to host discussion on override and local government, Feb. 13

Ken Parker and Shawn Fitzgibbons will host a discussion on February 13 at 7:30PM at Union Street Restaurant (107R Union Street, Newton Centre) to focus on the three upcoming ballot questions related to funding local government: an override and two debt exclusions. They plan to explore questions such as: How much will taxes increase? How will the money be spent? What will it mean for our schools and local services if the questions do not pass? You are invited to attend in person and enjoy Union Street’s beer selection — or view it remotely by Zoom. Either way, register here. If you can’t make it, you can sign up here for more information about the ballot questions and invitations to future events.
