On January 26 at 7PM, Historic Newton and the Newton Free Library will host a talk by Barry Wagner, author of a book about longtime Newton resident Arnold Hiatt, the president and chief executive officer of The Stride Rite Corporation. Hiatt launched the nation’s first corporate on-site child care center, led a national campaign finance reform effort, and played a leading role in Sen.
