Resident Parking Permits for 2022 will remain valid, at least through January, because the Resident Parking Permits for 2023 are not yet available due to vendor issues. When the 2023 permits are available, the City will announce this via social media and the Mayor’s newsletter. Call the Newton Police Department Traffic Bureau at 617-796-2106 to confirm availability.
To confirm your eligibility for a Resident Parking Permit, go to the Parking in Newton page on the City’s website, click on the “Neighborhood Parking Districts” section, and use the links there to consult the neighborhood maps. Submit application forms to the Police Department’s Traffic Bureau either in person at 1321 Washington Street, West Newton or by email to trafficbureau@newtonma.gov.
