The Harmony Foundation, the City of Newton, the Rotary Club of Newton, and The Village Bank are collaborating on a Community Food Drive, January 9-16, in honor of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and to benefit Newton’s three food pantries: Newton Food Pantry, Newton Centre Food Pantry, and the Arabic Baptist Food Pantry.
Please donate unexpired items:
- Cereal (Kid-friendly and name brands preferred)
- Hearty Canned Soup (meat, beans, veggies)
- White Tuna in Water
- Ground Coffee
- Shampoo, Deodorant, Toothpaste
- Mac & Cheese
- Cereal / Granola Bars
- Baby Wipes
Drop off donations at: Village Bank locations (until noon on January 14), Scandinavian Living Center, Newton City Hall (closed on Saturdays), Newton Police Headquarters, Newton Free Library, or the Martin Luther King Day Celebration at Newton North High School (January 16, 9:30AM, registration required).
