On January 18 at 7PM, the Newton Free Library will host a special cultural performance to celebrate the annual Spring Festival Year in this year of the Rabbit. People from many Asian countries observe the Lunar New Year by putting on their national costumes, singing and dancing, and playing ensemble music with traditional and modern instruments. Seen as an expression of their love, in our community, the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures makes the Spring Festival celebrations even more special. All are welcome to this free, family-friendly, in-person event in the Library’s Druker Auditorium.
This event is co-sponsored by Newton Education Support Network, Chinese American Association of Newton, and the Newton Chinese Language School.
