On February 11 at 2PM, Newton Community Pride and Newtonville Books (10 Langley Road) will present author Jabari Asim reading from A Child’s Introduction to Jazz, a delightful story of the musicians, culture, and roots of the world’s most remarkable music. Jabari Asim is a Professor at Emerson College and the director of the MFA Creative Writing Program, a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the author of several works for children.
