The Village Bank, Newton Rotary, and the City of Newton Department of Health and Human Services are sponsoring Newton’s 15th annual Holiday Gift Drive for local children through December 12. Here’s how to participate:
- Bring gifts — new and unwrapped, for ages 0-10 years — including age-appropriate toys, games, electronics, sporting goods, and gift cards from local merchants — to the rotunda in City Hall or to any Newton branch of The Village Bank.
- Make tax-deductible donations to the Newton Rotary Foundation designated for the Holiday Gift Drive (either online or by check to Newton Rotary, 33 Irving St, Newton Centre, 02459), and the Rotary will use all donations to purchase gifts from local retailers Just Next Door and Henry Bear’s Park.
- Shop at either Just Next Door or Henry Bear’s Park, and drop off your gifts at the Gift Drive Donation Boxes in those stores.
