The American Legion Post 440 Legionnaires, Auxiliary and Sons invite the public to their annual Hanukkah / Christmas Gift Card Party to benefit the homeless Veterans on Court Street in Boston. The event will be held on Thursday, December 22 at 6PM upstairs at The American Legion Post 440 (295 California Street, Newton). For entry, each guest must bring a $25 gift card (with receipt) for Dunkin, Subway, Walgreen’s, McDonald’s, or CVS.
There will be an Italian Buffet dinner, appetizer table, coffee, and desserts. Entertainment will include a dance group, Holiday music, a Comedian/Magician and Holiday sing-alongs. There will be a cash bar with Member prices and also raffles. This event will help the American Legion collect gift cards that will be delivered to the homeless veterans on Court Street in Boston on Christmas Day.
