Since Monday’s Fig City Local Government Meetings & Reports, several additional meetings have been posted:
The Newton Citizens Commission on Energy will meet virtually (Zoom link) TONIGHT, Wednesday, November 16 at 7PM and will hear updates on the Residential Sector working groups, which began meeting on November 8 and November 10 (see Agenda).
The Sustainable Materials Management Commission will meet virtually (Zoom link) on Thursday, November 17 at 7PM. They will be discussing an officer election to be held in January, discussion of the PAYT (Pay as you throw) recommendations in light of the override and debt exclusion, a discussion on recyclability of plastics, discussion of the scope of the comprehensive zero waste plan, and an update from the Sustainable Materials Management Department. The School Committee will meet in person (Room 210, Ed Center) and virtually (Zoom link) on Thursday, November 17 at 7PM.
