The West Suburban YMCA will host its Annual Gala on the evening of Saturday, November 5 — a Roaring-Twenties-themed dinner event to honor retiring board chair Ned Morse for his six decades with the Y — and to raise $100,000 to support the nonprofit’s many programs and services. For its first in-person gala since the pandemic started, the Y is encouraging guests to wear festive “Roaring Twenties” attire. The event, emceed by sports personality Nick “Fitzy” Stevens, starts at 6:30PM and includes a cocktail hour, seated dinner catered by Bakers’ Best, live music by East Coast Soul, an auction, and prizes.
