The recently released report of the Zoning and Planning Committee’s 6/27/2022 meeting (video of the meeting is here on NewTV) says that the Committee voted to approve the following:
- Request to accept the recommendation from the Community Preservation Committee to appropriate a total of $3,000,000 from Community Preservation Act funding – $2,373,470.71 from FY22 Unrestricted Funds and $626.529.29 from Prior Year Undesignated Funds to the Planning and Development Department for a grant to the project team of Metro West Community Development and Civico Development for the development and construction of 43 units of 100% affordable housing at the former West Newton Armor site. - Request to appropriate $890,000 of the City’s Inclusionary Housing Funds to Metro West Collaborative Development/Civico Development to support the redevelopment of the West Newton Armory into 43 units of permanently affordable housing. See Planning Memo
- Two Reappointments to the Conservation Commission:

- Ellen Katz
