The Newton Free Library will celebrate the opening of its new, expanded Children’s Room on August 4 with events throughout the day:
- Ribbon-cutting at 9:30AM
- A scavenger hunt throughout the day
- Storytime for ages 0-4 and their caregivers at 10:30AM or 11:15AM
- Face painting, balloon twisting, and cake and ice cream, 3PM-5PM
- Storytime and Activities for ages 4-5, 4PM-4:30PM
- Caravan Puppets puppet show: Tales of Trails, 7PM-7:45PM
