The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum and Revolution 250 are partnering with Historic Newton to place a commemorative marker at the grave of Boston Tea Party participant Obadiah Curtis in the East Parish Burying Ground. This event is part of an initiative to place a commemorative marker at the graves of known Boston Tea Party participants across the Commonwealth and the nation by the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 2023. For a brief public ceremony, meet on August 2 at 2:45PM at the corner of Cotton and Centre Streets in Newton Corner.
