The Friends of Hemlock Gorge will hold their Annual Picnic on August 2, from 5PM until dusk, at the Stone Building at the northeast corner of the park. The group will provide a grill, chairs, picnic benches, and music. At 6PM, there will be a belated dedication of the new roof of the Stone Building and a recognition of Rep. Ruth Balser for all her efforts to make the new roof possible and to maintain the building and the park.
