A request for $133,002 CPA funds from the Unrestricted Prior Year Funds to be allocated to the control of the Planning & Development Department for the completion of the 100% design of the Commonwealth Avenue Carriageway Redesign project in Auburndale will be before the Finance Committee on Monday, June 27th. This funding request was discussed last week at the Public Facilities Committee meeting (Committee voted 4-0-1 to approve) where concern was raised by Councilor Laredo regarding the cost increase. The Committee suggested some of the concerns could be addressed at the Finance Committee meeting. See agenda here – pp. 154-204.
