The Finance Committee voted to approve several large requests to use Free Cash: $1,625,000 for Fire Department Overtime, $184,000 for NNHS Tennis Courts, and $4,632,500 for Eversource ATB interest – this amount has been requested to hold in reserve for potential liability in an Appellate Tax Board case filed by Eversource. According to this memo, FY2021 Certified Free Cash has only about $20K left in the account.
