The Newton Centre Shop & Stroll will return this Sunday, December 18, 12PM-4 PM. Stroll about the Centre for your holiday shopping and you’ll find local artisans and entrepreneurs popping up in fourteen Newton Centre shops and restaurants. This year, the Shop & Stroll has expanded with more shops and pop-ups for all budgets and tastes. The event gives us all a chance to support Newton’s small businesses, still facing economic challenges. It gives up-and-coming entrepreneurs and artisans well-deserved exposure. And it brings our community together for an afternoon of pure holiday fun.
Refugee Protection International –a charity organization with stuffed animals and ornaments crafted by conflict-displaced refugees from Syria and Ukraine — will pop up at Bubble Dentistry. Horizonline Ceramics will be at Cork & Board. Strolling carolers from FUUSN will start at Baramor at 2PM. Various food vendors will offer complimentary warm drinks and samples.
